Point of Presence
A mirror hung near the door was once a small daily ritual-one last look before stepping out, a moment of gathering, of composure. The pause between interior life and the world.
Our reflection follows us now, available at any moment, on demand and inescapable. We have never seen ourselves more and been present less.
This piece hangs where that mirror might have hung. It carries the same form, the same invitation to stop at the threshold- a single still point to rest in before you move on. A moment that asks only that you be in it.
Hand sculpted from real leaves and flowers entombed in beeswax, sealed in gypsum and finished with a mineral glaze. Organic forms arrested mid-unfurl in a state that feels somewhere between the living world and stone.
