OM 059

$2,450.00

OM 059 explores the multidimensional nature of self. A figure made for kinetic motion is reflected in a dichroic glass. Beneath the glass is the impression of a well matching the figure's form. The three integrated figures representing how the world views us, how we see ourselves and the essence of who we actually are and the aberration and truth in each.

This sculpture is part of a series inspired by and in honor of the late, Los Angeles artist, Kenji Shiokava whose estate gifted us with materials that challenged us to create work utilizing found and recycled materiality.

Found wood, concrete, wax, dichroic glass, brass, wire. Signed and numbered.
